It's official... we're opening a pub! 🍻

We're currently in the process of transforming the disused First In Last Out pub on the railway into our very own pub: The Railway Tap.

We're working with the best local craftsmen to make something a bit special. We’re installing mahogany panelling, handmade ironwork and hand-carved stone. This old pub is having quite a facelift!

We're hoping to open our doors to you all later this Winter; we'll see you there!

Then and now: How Whitby Brewery has transformed over the years. 🍺

What a difference a few years can make! These then-and-now photos show how much Whitby Brewery has changed, transforming a converted barn into one of Whitby’s most distinctive places to enjoy a locally brewed pint.

Established in 2013, Whitby Brewery set out with a simple mission: to bring traditional, independent craft brewing back to the seaside town.

Located at Abbey Farm on East Cliff, just a stone’s throw from the historic Whitby Abbey, the brewery has become a popular destination for locals and visitors alike.

Today, its b**r garden offers spectacular views of the Abbey, making it a wonderful spot to enjoy a freshly brewed pint, particularly on a sunny afternoon. And it’s not just the b**r that draws people in, with delicious freshly made pizzas adding to the experience! 🍕🍻

You can also find the brewery’s range of real ales in pubs across Whitby and the surrounding villages, as well as at festivals throughout the region.

While the building has undergone quite a transformation since those early days, one thing has remained the same: its commitment to producing great Yorkshire b**r!

October has arrived, which means one thing... introducing Count Quackula 🧛🦆⚰️🎃

Our October special is our classic tomato base, topped with duck, mozzarella, spring onion and hoisin.

Available from 1pm today until Halloween. We serve pizzas from 1pm to 7pm or until we sell out!
