The Black Horse The Black Horse is a tiny, traditional, two bar pub in the heart of Whitby's old town. We are too small to accommodate groups, or dog pushchairs unless folded.

We offer a great selection of drinks, which perfectly complement our Yapas (Yorkshire tapas) menu, food is served daily from 12 - 9pm. We have 4 en-suite letting rooms which are pet free, but offer a self catering apartment which sleeps 2 and up to 2 dogs. Dogs are welcome in both bar areas, however from 1st September, WE WON'T ALLOW UNDER 18'S IN THE PUB. If you're looking for a relaxed, small ve

What a great day to get married….. the sun is shining, and it’s a bit cooler than it has been. We’re hosting another wedding this morning, so the back bar will be open at 12 noon as usual. Please use the side door. The front bar will remain closed for a couple of hours to allow the wedding party some space for themselves 🥂💍❤️
