​We have just tapped something incredibly special for you all today. The fine brewers up at Vault City have sent us a concoction that looks exactly like a dark and mysterious tavern brew. It is a stunning Root B**r modern sour pouring with the most beautiful frothy head you will ever see.

​Taking a sip feels exactly like kicking back in Hobbiton after a long day of adventuring across the North York Moors. It is packed with that nostalgic sweet root b**r flavour but finishes with a perfectly balanced modern craft tartness 🤤

​We know it is easy to default to the big corporate names when you want a stout. But here at The Green Dragon we believe you deserve much better. ✨

​That is why we are incredibly proud to pour Big Fish from the independent wizards at Belfast based Bullhouse Brew Co. They have sent this beautiful 4.2 percent ABV creation across the sea just for us and it blows the mass produced stuff right out of the water. ⚓

​We are absolutely thrilled to welcome back an old favourite to our Imperial stout lines today. The incredible Barrel Aged Bueno Shake from the wizards at UnBarred Brewery is flowing once again and it is tasting better than ever. 🍻

​Think of those famous creamy chocolate and hazelnut treats but magically transformed into a massive eleven percent milk stout. It has been resting beautifully in Buffalo Trace bourbon barrels giving it an extra touch of vanilla and oak that will warm you right up. 🌬️

​This absolute beast of a dessert b**r will not last long on the taps. Let us pour you a glass of pure indulgence tonight. 🐉

​We love bringing the absolute best modern craft kegs to Whitby and this one is a true monster. Two Flints brewery completely nailed the brief with Parallel Number Three. This Double IPA is glowing with so much tropical hop goodness you might need sunglasses just to look at the glass 😎

​At eight percent it packs a punch worthy of a cave troll but drinks smoother than a calm day down at Tate Hill Beach. We are the only tavern in town pouring this specific magic right now. It is the exact kind of premium juice that makes our little corner of the shire the best place to be on a Monday afternoon 🐉

​Our beloved keg of Shiny Brewery Crush is on its absolute last legs. We have poured so much of this hazy brilliance today that the tap is basically weeping. 😭

​For a gorgeous gluten free IPA to disappear this quickly is unheard of even for our thirsty Whitby regulars. It is vanishing faster than a flock of seagulls descending on a dropped portion of scampi down at the harbour. 🍟

​We need a hero to help us finish this off right now so we can hook up the next barrel. 🦸‍♂️
