📍 Tarporley, Cheshire With 16 en-suite guest rooms, The Swan has been an integral part of the community for over 400 years and its characterful original features, log fires and rustic décor all add to its ‘village pub’ charm. Take a seat and relax in one of the two bar areas as our friendly staff serve you a glass of your favourite tipple, whether a crisp Sauvignon or a cold pint of local ale. Those who find themselves in need of a quick bite can enjoy a tankard of chef’s finest pork crackling or one of our renowned giant scotch eggs. If you prefer a more leisurely experience, take a seat in one of the many nooks and crannies and enjoy a meal from our daily seasonal menu. Food served Tuesday to Saturday. Lunches & teas - 12noon until 4pm. Evenings (dine In / takeaway) - 5pm until 9pm

As the evenings draw in and the leaves begin to turn, we’re welcoming the new season at The Swan with our brand-new Autumn Menu. 🍽️

Expect hearty British favourites, seasonal ingredients and plenty of comforting dishes made for those cosy autumn days.

From our Stanley Jones’ 28-day prime Welsh steaks and slow-braised steak, kidney & Weetwood ale pie, to roast chalk stream trout, buttermilk fried chicken and our famous flame-grilled Swan burger — there’s something for everyone.

And, of course, save room for pudding… 🍎🍫
Think apple frangipane, sticky toffee pudding, blackberry fool, chocolate trio and autumn fruit crumble.

🦢❤️ THANK YOU, MEG! ❤️🦢

After an incredible 3 years at The Swan, today we’ll be saying a very big farewell to our amazing Deputy Manager, Meg.

Meg has been such a huge part of The Swan over the last three years. From keeping us all organised (most of the time! 😉) to looking after our guests, supporting the team and helping make The Swan the place it is today, she has given so much to our team.

She’s been an amazing Deputy Manager, a brilliant colleague and, most importantly, a genuinely lovely person who will be missed by everyone.

But this isn’t goodbye forever… it’s see you later! 🇦🇺✈️

Meg is heading off on an adventure to Australia, and whilst we’re incredibly sad to see her go, we’re also so excited for everything that lies ahead.

From all of us at The Swan — thank you for everything, Meg. Three years of hard work, laughs, memories and plenty of chaos! 😂

Have the most amazing time in Australia. Go and make some incredible memories… and don’t forget us! ❤️
