This is Benjamin Jones. Most eight-year-olds would struggle to walk up one 3,000ft peak. He just climbed 15 of them - in one day.

Benji has loved the mountains since he was a small child being taken out with his mum Toni - and he wanted to take on the epic challenge of the Welsh 3,000s to raise money for charity. It's a brutal challenge to climb the 15 tallest mountains in Wales in one day. All are over 914m tall and include four over 1km-high, Yr Wyddfa, Carnedd Ugain, Carnedd Llywelyn and Carnedd Dafydd.

He started and finished in darkness, walking more than 40km and scaling all of the nation's tallest peaks in an incredible time of 15 hours 58 minutes. He battled through rain, wind and low visibility with the help of his mum and friends who supported them.

Mum Toni said: "Waving Benji off into the mist and wind at 5:30am was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do as a mum, but he has made me the proudest mum in the world! What an incredible day!"
