After nearly 8 incredible years at The Windmill, it’s time for us to start our next chapter! ❤️

We’ve made so many amazing memories, shared countless laughs and met some wonderful people along the way. Now it’s time to celebrate with all of you one last time!

Although it’s a few weeks until we hand over the pub, today was my last time working in the kitchen alongside Jamie.

To think when he started he had never cooked or worked in a commercial kitchen, and this picture was his first ever dessert he did. 🍰

To the young man he is now taking his first steps with his friends and colleagues into the world of pub ownership. What a journey!

Two NVQ apprenticeships completed and a finalist in the young apprentice of the year award

If what you’ve learnt and achieved in the past three years is anything to go by, you’ll make a great business owner 🎖️

And trust us, you’ll definitely recognise the faces taking over!

🎉 Introducing your new landlords from 9th November… Jamie, Dan & Dylan! 🎉

All three are already familiar faces at The Windmill, and we couldn’t be happier to be handing over the reins to a team who know the pub, know our customers, and know what makes The Windmill so special. 💚

We’re confident they’re the perfect team to carry on making The Windmill one of Southport’s best-loved pubs!

🍻 So, what does this mean for you?

✅ Your favourite quiz nights will continue.
🎸 Live music and events will carry on.
🍽️ The quality food you know and love isn’t going anywhere.
❤️ And, most importantly, The Windmill will still be The Windmill!

There might be a few tweaks and fresh ideas along the way, but the heart and soul of your local will remain the same.

After nearly 8 years of love, hard work, and plenty of memories, it means a lot to us to know that the pub is being passed on to a team who are already part of the Windmill family.
