Team Break This Sunday

This coming Sunday, my team are taking a well deserved break
They’ve earned some time to enjoy their holidays, and for some of them, Sundays off are a real rarity with how busy hospitality can be

So this Sunday, you’ll find me behind the bar while the rest of the team enjoy two days of time out 🙌🏼

Closing our food service on a Sunday is a significant sacrifice for a small business, but my team have worked tirelessly week after week.

Following a particularly demanding day yesterday (with a touch of rudeness from a small number of people), and to give the team some added much needed time to recharge, I’ve decided they’re getting this extra day off

Thank you to everyone who continues to support us with kindness and understanding. We’ll be serving food as normal Tuesday to Saturday this week and our Sunday food service will return on 20th September 💙

We had the absolute pleasure of hosting our very first wedding, and what an amazing experience it was 💍

It was so lovely to see the pub transformed for such a beautiful occasion. Seeing it dressed so differently and being part of such a special celebration was something we’re very appreciative of 🩵

It was a joy to provide a different kind of service and help make the day memorable for the happy couple. Thank you for choosing us to be part of your big day 🤍

Because of all of you, we raised an amazing £1,100 for Queenscourt Hospice, a night we’ll never forget💜

Well… it’s back🎉
