⚡ ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

Another day, another power cut in Birkdale due to a fault at the Clarence Road substation — forcing local businesses to close yet again.

This is now the third or fourth time in recent times that residents and businesses have been affected by these repeated outages, causing major disruption, lost trade and unnecessary inconvenience for the local community.

For businesses, being forced to close at short notice means lost revenue, disappointed customers and staff left in limbo. For residents, it means yet more disruption to everyday life.

This is completely unacceptable.

How many more times does this have to happen before something is done? Surely the people of Birkdale deserve a reliable electricity supply, and local businesses deserve better than being repeatedly left to pick up the bill for these failures.

We need answers, accountability and, most importantly, a lasting solution — not just another temporary fix until the next outage.

Birkdale residents and businesses deserve better.
