I don't do this often but this is a deal and a half for any pool player! One of the most entertaining players on the pool circuit. Champs8ball

Genuinely emotional to finally get my friend Matthew "Doncaster Destroyer" Lester into the upstairs hall using our new wheelchair stair lift. I've been promising him a lift for nearly 2 years. At last anyone can now get to experience the whole club. It was a good day for the club.

Mental Health is a big deal. Snooker has always played an important role in helping people cope, even just for a few hours' respite. That's why Spot On joined WST's and Minds Cue the Conversation initiative. If you're struggling, feel free to pick up the Blue Cue and come in for a chat and a cuppa, or just a cuppa. You're part of the family and the club's community.

It's finally happening! Both my parents ended up in wheelchairs with MS, so any business I am involved in has to make sure it is inclusive. It's taken over a year to get the right supplier, get architects and drawings and plans in place, but it's happening this week! We are having a wheelchair stair lift installed and it should be done by the end of the week. In the mean time we ask you to use the side entrance on Flora Street until we confirm it's safe to use the front entrance - we're hoping the middle of Friday! After that we will adapt the entrance to make it easier for wheelchairs. I seriously can't wait to see the first wheelchair user playing on our Star table and Rasson table and ordering their own drinks at the bar upstairs!

Allison Fisher MBE you are such an inspiration to me from the 1980s in snooker and then in pool. I do hope you can keep telling the world that nothing is impossible. Wishing you all the best.

Seven-time World Womens Snooker champion Allison Fisher is retiring from cue sports after sharing the news that she has been diagnosed with Parkinsons disease
