A warm welcome awaits as well as real ales and much more including ample outside tables and covered heated spaces. Nestled in the S6 corner of the Steel City.

Located just a short journey from the city and train links. Built-in 1846 the building was originally a grocery shop where locals sold bottled beer that could be refilled. In 1977, it became the Firwood Cottage where it was modernized as a Tetley house. Closing in 2016, followed an 18 months restoration project. Re-born as the Blind Monkey in May 2018, several original features have been retained, including the Victorian façade and the fireplace in the bar. The wood panelling, cooper and glass finishes, elegant light fittings give a nod to the late 1900s. Beer Garden & Terrace that is covered

Thornbridge Brewery The Great Outdoors is a lovely smooth bitter, and with every pint 20p goes to supporting children's outdoor education charities!

We have sadly had to call time on our Sky Sports subscription.

We have received a massive increase on our subscription fees that we can simply no longer afford.

While we might not be able to show the football anymore, this gives us an opportunity to spend the money elsewhere on our entertainment!
