5 years old and working so hard to clear the colours for his TWSportsManagement challenge!

Fred spent 2.5 hours practising this today, and even though he hasn't fully cleared them yet, his cue-ball control is improving so much.

Check out this effort from today—you won't believe the cut on the pink!

He can do all the individual components now, it's just about putting it all together.

Part 2 of Fred’s mission to clear the colours!

After that tough rest shot on the pink caught him out in Part 1, 5-year-old Fred went straight into a coaching session to dial in his cue-ball control.

Resetting from the brown, the focus was completely on positional play:
🎱 Brown slotted into the middle
🎱 Controlled run through onto the blue
🎱 Great angle left on the pink

He got all the way to the black, and the difference in position is night and day.

Now the real test: can a 5-year-old remember this routine and execute it all on his own? 🫣

5-year-old Fred has a new mission! 🟡🟢🟤🔵🩷⚫️

TWSportsManagement set him a special challenge: clear the colours off their spots in exchange for some special WST player cards. Safe to say, he took that very seriously!

Yellow, green, and brown drop nicely, but position gets away on the blue—forcing a monster full-table recovery pot! 🎯 Tricky position on the pink leaves a tough cut with the rest...

He didn’t quite get it this time, but the determination is 100%.

This is only part 1—we've got more clips of the journey and hopefully he'll achieve it very soon!

5-year-old Fred loves recreating TWSportsManagement's challenges, so when "The Warrior" himself Kyren Wilson asked Fred to set one for him, Fred knew he needed to deliver! 🎱🔥

He’s only had a few tries at it and it’s definitely proving difficult (yes, the aim really is to squeeze through and pot the black! 🤣). But Fred knew it had to be tough to test the World Number 9. Can Kyren pot it on his first attempt?! 😉

A challenge scarier than the final of the Northern Ireland Open! Huge good luck today Kyren, Fred will be cheering you on! 🏆👏

A 3–0 win for Fred this afternoon! 🎱👏

Huge thanks to Fred's Dad’s mate Barry for coming down for a match today. Barry has been following Fred’s snooker journey online and fancied testing his skills against him at the table! (And not just any table, our 5-year-old's favourite: the BCE and Riley 'Alistacress' 😂)

A fantastic session, great company, and brilliant match practice for Fred. Thank you for the frames and the support, Barry—you're always welcome back for a rematch!

Fred has officially caught the trading card bug! 🃏👀

Huge thank you to TWSportsManagement who kindly sent Fred some of the new WST Kakawow cards while they’re still on pre-order!

He finally understands the whole concept now—sorting through his folder, learning about swaps, and getting ready to hunt down his favourites.

The top two on his ultimate wishlist right now are Judd Trump and Onyee Ng 吳安儀 🤩 Father Christmas might just have to slip a pack into his stocking to help him track them down! 🎅🎱

4 years old and well on his way to laser-straight cueing 🤩

A throwback to last year when The Snooker School set up this brand new challenge for Fred and he did it on his first ever attempt! Nobody could believe it - including us...but Fred didn't know what the big deal was 😂

He always seems to put on a show at the Woodhouse Cues family fun days!

Dad made the mistake of agreeing to "just one quick game" after bowling wrapped up at a birthday party for two of his school friends...

From showing the other kids how to hold a cue earlier on to running the table on me at the end of the day, his passion for this game at 5 years old blows me away. Safe to say dad took a proper lesson today. 🎱👏
