As many of you know we are looking to start a darts team at the old fat ox.

We are currently looking to put a Tuesday night team together the list is now up next to the dart board.

The great news is with the dart board being so popular we are installing a second darts dart in the coming weeks so no need to leave the fat ox when you cannot get on one we have.

We have also had k- flex flights custom made available behind the bar for £16 a set we have 2 different types of flights and length.

Wednesday sees England kick off their World Cup campaign, and we’ll be showing all the action live at The Old Fat Ox!

Buskers at the Ox kicks off from 8pm, hosted by Gary Miller. Whether you're a regular performer, fancy getting up for a song, or just want to enjoy some fantastic local talent, everyone is welcome.

From today our kitchen is now open:

Monday – Saturday: 12pm – 8pm
Sunday: 12pm – 5pm

Whether you’re joining us for lunch, dinner or a catch up with friends, we’ve got plenty to tempt you. Why not try our Steak & Ale Pie, Fish & Chips, Hunters Chicken or our popular Fat Ox Burger? Looking for something to share? Our Small Plates offer is perfect with 3 dishes for £22.95, including favourites such as Garlic King Prawns, Crispy Calamari, Lamb Koftas and Salt & Chilli Chicken.
