Evening everyone !!

I know it’s a very late post but it is with a heavy heart that this year we won’t be serving you at Laverock Hall Farm & Bird Food this year.

Due to the severe heat/ drought we’ve had this year the pumpkin crop hasnt progressed as well as the farms family would have liked it too.

I know this has been a really difficult decision for the family to make but it is for the best !

As with all events a lot of things are weather dependent and unfortunately this year it just wasn’t meant to be 😔

However ….. please still support your local farmers and pop into the shop for an amazing range of plants, animal feed etc

Many thanks
Bob's Bar team

We are so sorry to announce that after further discussions and field inspections, we will be cancelling our PYO pumpkin event for 2026.

This has certainly not been an easy decision, and means that another income stream has been wildly affected by the horrid drought and hot weather this year.

We are so sorry to disappoint people, but hope that we have given you enough time to be able to find alternative places to spend your pumpkin time.

We will likely still sell some in the shop, we just do not have enough to hold an event in good conscience with the financial risks we already undertake as a farm.

We are so sorry and sad, please let people know who do not use social media,

Team laverock
