Important Update:
Hi all,
From the start me and Richie have always been open and transparent with you and that will never change. This post is to bring you some news but also hopefully shows our continued dedication to this amazing venue and you who use it.
Over the last couple of months, me and Richie took a little step back from the front line after over 4 months of 13 hour shifts with no days off.
We knew this would be the case because in life you get out what you put in and we wanted it to work.
We have and will always continue to monitor and support this so that the service you are provided continues to be top notch.
That being said, it has run very well with our general manager David, and as a result we feel we can look at another venue to run alongside this.
We are very conscious of the fact that we are still very much needed to support you as a community and we are always here when you need us.
So, we have now taken another amazing place with the view that this community can also benefit from a decent local that gives them what Red House provides for in Whitley Bay. There's a buzz from seeing people happy that me and Richie thrive on.
This new venue is only about an hour from Whitley Bay in the North Pennines area of Outstanding Natural beauty and has 10 letting bedrooms.
For anyone who loves the countryside and walking etc this is an ideal spot to start from.
We want to create a Coast to Country offer for you all, and from the end of June if you use the Red House we will offer you 15% off room bookings at the new venue as a way of saying thank you.
We very much want you to be a part of this journey, hence the post and the offer.
We will be in a position in the not to distant future to go between both of these venues and see you all, grab a drink and put the world to right as they say.
We genuinely care about Red House and will never walk away and just forget you. We are working still to bring you an amazing offer, even if we're not in the pub every day at the moment. We have daily contact with David and chat regularly via socials and WhatsApp to many locals.
