🚨🐶 DOG WALKERS — WARNING AT MANVERS LAKE 🐶🚨

A heads-up for anyone who regularly walks their dogs around Manvers Lake.

We’ve received confirmation that blue-green algae has been identified, so please DO NOT allow your dogs to enter or drink from the water. ⚠️💧

Blue-green algae can be toxic to dogs and potentially cause serious illness, so please keep them on a lead around the water’s edge and take extra care.

🐾 Keep dogs out of the lake
💧 Don’t allow them to drink the water
⚠️ Avoid any visible algae or scum
📢 Please SHARE to warn other local dog walkers

If you believe your dog has come into contact with blue-green algae and becomes unwell, contact a vet promptly.
