Weve had so many calls lately regarding xmas day bookings so thought it would be easier to do a public announcement.

WE DO NOT OPEN XMAS DAY

As we and our chefs are parents of young children we feel xmas is the one day through all the festive madness we can stop take a breath and enjoy the day with families whilst the xmas magic is still alive through young eyes !

the younger ones can also enjoy their hangovers and xmas dinners with their families stress free lol

we will however be running our xmas fayres from mid nov throughout dec ....menus should be out early october so we will ensure the xmas magic is well any truly in place for you all then.

thankyou all for your understanding and we look forward to celebrating with you and your friends/families soon !!

This is a very strange one for us to write and tbh we don't know what goes through people's heads

Yesterday we received a 2 star review which we were very much confused about as all our guests seemed very happy..... We looked at the review to see a simple 2 star overall with 4 stars then in descriptions for food and atmosphere 🤔

This photo was then posted against our review which we can assure never came from our kitchen as it is obviously ai generated lol

We then also saw another Local business the farmers table was also reviewed in the same way on the same day as was fish bar a few months ago.....

Having eaten in both of these places we can also assure this is not from their kitchens and they both provide quality food

Why people do this sort of thing baffles us and trolling comes to mind.

For a business reviews are obviously important to us and effect us and our staff who all work extremely hard day in day out

Honestly the Internet can be a strange place at times. 😅
