Halfway House Little Mill The Halfway House is a small, local pub located in the friendly village of Little Mill. It offers pool, darts, boules and great beers!

We have some news about the pub for everyone.

The new buyers are taking over on Friday and temporarily closing the pub for a refurbishment for approximately 2 weeks. Very exciting stuff and I'm sure we all cant wait to see what they do to the place. See Louise from the horse and jockey for more details.

This means tonight will be our last quiz night and tomorrow will be our last night. We have put some special offers on for all those who have supported us over these last couple of very difficult years.

We would like to wish Louise all the best and hope she enjoys running this lovely little pub as much as we did.

And finally a massive thanks to all those who have used this pub over our 7 year tenancy...... a big cheers to you all.

The boules league matches have been cancelled tonight due to bad weather.

This means we will not be open this evening.

THURSDAY MUSIC NIGHT.......

Firstly thanks to Colin Berg for his recent post calling for support for local facilities.

To bring everyone up to date we are still open for business.

We are still up for sale and while we would prefer to sell as a business (pub/restaurant/shop etc) we have little choice in this difficult market.

We would particarly welcome an offer from a coop or group of villagers as this will ensure the village has control of the future development of the site.

In the meantime, the more village support a business has the more likely it will sell as a going concern.

There is a perfect opportunity tonight with our Thursday music night.

Starting about 8pm we have a jam session with local musicians.

If you play any instrument you are welcome to join in or simply sit back enjoy the music and sing along.

This will be our third jam session and it is a really lovely evening.

Seems we have another impromptu gig at the Halfway House tonight (thurs).

Geraint, Keith and Chris "banjo man" Morton are back wirh singer Bridget and possibly others for a jam session/gig.
