Situated 15 minutes from Haverhill, Bury St Edmunds & Newmarket Jack & the team welcome you to the Wickhambrook Greyhound and Twenty one. The Greyhound opened its doors under its current owners in August 2011 after being purchased from Greene King. The Greyhound has since undergone a huge refurbishment including the demolition of half of the pub and the erection of a new building housing a new kitchen, stylish toilets and the exciting new restaurant Twenty One. The Greyhound & Twenty One is situated in the centre of Wickhambrook, which is the largest village by area in Suffolk. Wickhambrook is located approximately 10 miles from Newmarket, Haverhill and Bury St Edmunds. We offer a selection of cask conditioned ales, fine wines and award winning coffees, in a comfortable, friendly and inviting atmosphere. We have a large car park, large gardens and a cosy log fire for those winter nights, and if you have a dog bring them along too. We look forward to welcoming you soon.

What an exciting couple of weeks it’s been! 🥰

Since we announced that Cup and Clicks are coming to The Greyhound Wickhambrook, the response has been absolutely incredible! ❤️

We’ve had so many lovely messages, amazing feedback and some fantastic tasting sessions — and we’re delighted to say that the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive! 🙌🤤

So… we’re incredibly excited to finally share our FIRST MENU! 🎉🇮🇳

From Friday 18th September, we’ll be bringing you our take on delicious South Indian food, available to eat in or takeaway, right here at The Greyhound Wickhambrook.

Today we said bye to an absolute legend, Paul Salmon. One of life’s truly great people. ❤️

Today was a beautiful and incredibly emotional celebration of Paul’s life. Tracey and the girls gave him the most incredible send-off, surrounded by family and so many special friends. I have so much admiration for the strength, love and dignity they have shown through such an incredibly difficult time.

I shall cherish the memories we made. I’ll miss your banter, our chats, your support and those words of encouragement that always seemed to come at just the right time.

A huge thank you to the my team, our wider friends and family for pulling together and making today possible. Your love, support and kindness have meant more than you’ll ever know.

Paul, you were one of a kind and you will never be forgotten. ❤️

When one of our regulars asked if we could cater for 80 people at a nearby village hall, of course we said YES! ❤️

💙 Remembering our dear friend, Paul Salmon 💙

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our much-loved friend Paul Salmon, who sadly passed away on 1st August 2026, aged 59.

Paul’s funeral will be a private service for family and close friends on Tuesday 25th August.

Afterwards, Tracey and the girls warmly invite everyone who knew Paul to join them at The Greyhound Pub from 4:30pm to raise a glass and celebrate his life. 🥂

💙 Please wear Man City colours if possible — no black.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Donkey Sanctuary in Paul’s memory.
