Our Story
The Chequers, has reopened after a massive renovation ( still ongoing ) We Brew our own range of Craft Beer under the name of Munson’s Brewery ( the Munson family owned the pub and we believe brewed beer here in the 1700’s )
We currently open Thursday and Friday evenings from 5pm On Friday evening we have our good friends Suffolk Mermaid - Fish & Chip van parked outside and customers are welcome to bring and eat their Fish & Chips into the pub. ( ** be early - we only have seating for 50 and we don’t take reservations )
