The Three Tuns - Cowlinge
Refurbishment Update

Work is progressing well as we continue bringing your beautiful pub back to its best!

Fire Alarm Installation !
Today marks the start of the installation of our required P1 fire alarm system. We’re taking extra care to preserve the character and appearance of this lovely historic building, with wiring being discreetly installed within the upper-floor structure to avoid unsightly visible cables being seen.
These works are expected to take approximately 10 days.

New Cellar & B**r Lines
From 3rd November, work will begin on our brand-new cellar, complete with all-new b**r lines to bring you a selection of quality ales and la**rs, served perfectly fresh from the tap.
We can’t wait to get this up and running! 🍺🍺

☕ Great Coffee Is Coming to The Three Tuns!

Our new Rijo42 bean-to-cup coffee machine arrives this Tuesday! We’re looking forward to serving you what we believe will be a fantastic range of freshly prepared coffees, made from freshly ground beans for that perfect aroma and taste.

Whether you fancy a morning coffee, an afternoon pick-me-up, or simply a relaxing coffee while enjoying the pub, we’ll have something for you, including a slice of cake !

Inside The Three Tuns
The full redecoration and bar refurbishment are also well underway, with plenty of improvements already completed throughout the pub, including our new pool room.

There’s still plenty to do, but we’re making great progress, and every improvement is helping us create the welcoming, traditional country pub we want The Three Tuns to be for you.

Thank you for your patience and support while we get everything ready. We look forward to welcoming you in and showing you what we’ve been working on! ❤️🍻

Opening weekend will be confirmed very soon ! 🎶🍺🍷🎶🥃🍾🎶

* The Three Ways *

A New Chapter Begins

Dear friends and new neighbours,

Allow us to introduce ourselves, we’re Mick and Claire, we are incredibly happy to finally be able to say that we have the keys to your pub, today 12th October.

It has been a long journey, with more delays and hurdles than we ever could have expected, but we’re here, and we couldn’t be more excited about becoming part of the Cowlinge community.

From the very first time we visited the pub in February, and through the many conversations we’ve had with people from Cowlinge and the surrounding villages, we’ve quickly realised just how much this pub means to the local people.

It isn’t simply a pub. It’s a meeting place, a place to catch up with friends, share a story, have a drink, enjoy some food and, hopefully, make a few new memories along the way.

We’re incredibly grateful for the warm welcome and support we’ve received since this journey began back in February.

We know many of you are keen to see the doors open, but we do need to close for a short while first.
There is some important work to be done, including installing a new fire alarm system, completely updating the cellar and upgrading the kitchen with new ovens and equipment.

We know the closure will be inconvenient, and we really do appreciate your patience.
These are important improvements that will give us the foundations to create the pub we want it to be for you.

When we reopen, we’ll be open for coffee from 11am, with lunch served from 12 noon, followed by an evening dinner service.

Fridays will be our music night, with live music, a proper traditional pub atmosphere and a menu of traditional pub grub for Fridays.

We’ll also have pool, darts, and a range of community events throughout the year.

Most importantly, we want The Three Ways to be a proper village pub.
Children, dogs Muddy boots and tractors are all welcome.
Come as you are, stay for a drink, enjoy some food and make yourself at home in front of the log fire or our beautiful garden.

After talking to people in the village and learning more about the history of this wonderful old building, there is one final change that we’ve been asked if we could consider and that’s to bring her back to her original name, dating back to 1643.

So, after all these years…

We will re-open as The Three Tuns.

We can’t wait to open the doors, welcome you in and start this next chapter together.

Thank you for your patience, your support and the incredibly warm welcome you’ve already given us.

We look forward to seeing you all very soon.
