💔🍻 END OF AN ERA... ONE LAST NIGHT AT THE DUKE OF YORK 🍻💔

Tonight is it. The final chapter.

After years of memories, laughter, celebrations, and unforgettable nights, tonight we say goodbye to The Duke of York, Wallsend.

Over the years we've welcomed so many people through our doors. Some came in as customers and left as friends. Others found a second home here. Even in the short time Sean Kincaid has been with us, he's fitted right in and become part of the Duke family, just as so many others have over the years.

That's what made this place special. It wasn't just a pub or a nightclub. It was a place where people came together.

We're incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported us, worked with us, DJ'd for us, and danced the nights away with us. Saying goodbye is difficult because we've genuinely loved every minute and every person who helped make the Duke what it became.

While England vs Norway is on tonight, we will not be showing the match as we remain a late bar and nightclub until the very end. Instead, we'll be providing a place for those who fancy a night out, a few drinks, and one last party at the Duke.

Tonight isn't just another Friday night.

It's the beginning of the final weekend ever at The Duke of York, Wallsend.

After nearly four incredible years, Andrew and Dean are saying goodbye to the Duke following the sale of the building. Sadly, this weekend also marks the end of The Duke of York as a public house.

There have been countless memories made here. Friendships formed, birthdays celebrated, dancefloors packed, and plenty of unforgettable nights.

So let's give the Duke the send-off it deserves. ❤️

It is with great sadness and also happiness at the same time we announce that Andrew & Dean nearly 4 years we are proud of what we’ve achieved and been apart of the buzzing high street.

The brewery has sold the building and we’ve agreed to vacant early from our lease it’s a bittersweet feeling.

So this is our last weekend trading at The Duke Of York and also the last weekend for the Duke Of York to be a public house, as the new building owners have other plans for the premises. So No more Duke on the high street this is not a drill.

Join us tonight and tomorrow to relive the memories.

Have a party to celebrate the time of the Duke.
