We would like to thank all of our loyal customers for all of their support over the past few months. It’s not been easy, especially with all the new rules but you did it!

A massive thank you to all of our staff that have worked their socks off, making sure we abide my the rules.

We can only hope Boris allows us to reopen 2nd December. We hope to see you all back in the bar again soon!

We had been saving money in our “Old mans trip” bottle for quite some time but given the current Covid-19 situation it’s looking increasingly unlikely that any trip will happen this year! That being said we have decided to use the money collected to benefit our customers- we will be charging £1 a pint as of Monday 2nd November, whilst funds last. All Covid rules MUST still be followed.

It’s not hard to wear a face covering when you get up from your table to go to the loo or a tab so why make it difficult for staff?

Staff do not make the rules but staff are scared if the rules are not followed they will lose their job or worse still the bar will be closed down altogether!

Please respect the staff- they’re just doing their job. Wear your face covering and help to keep your favourite local boozer going strong ❤️
