Drag queens are in the Tipsy Toad - AGAIN! This time with a very spooky Halloween Special, hosted by Heaton local drag artist, Sweet Boy!

After the huge success of the Heaton Pride Open Mic Drag Show, we have been inundated with requests to bring the show back and have it part of our regular event lineup... So if you want to see more drag at the Tipsy Toad come support this 🎃Halloween edition 👻 of Sweet Boy's Sunday Special Open Mic Drag Show - hosted by none other than Sweet Boy themself! 🥳

This is a free ticketed event, so please ensure you book a ticket if you’d like to come along. There may be some walk-ins available, but it’s best to guarantee yourself a seat!

If you’d like to perform, please reach out to Sweet Boy to sign yourself up! Performances are up to 5 minutes each, and tipping tokens will be available on the night to be split between all open mic performers.

Doors are at 3pm, and the show will start promptly at 4pm - get down early for a nice pint before the chaos kicks off!

Newcastle, and Heaton in particular, is full of q***r talent so come down and support these fabulous local entertainers! ♥️🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Catch Darrin and Sarah tonight LIVE on Channel 4 at 10pm with Joe Lycett on Live at the Lycett Arms The Lycett Arms talking about what it takes to run this silly little place and why we love it so dearly. With special guest appearances from former bar staff and a few of our most cherished punters sat at the bar.

*Filming will be live inside the pub tonight so please be aware that should you choose to join us at the Toad you may be on camera. Please also be aware it will be crowded and loud and there will be mandatory moments of silence while Sarah and Darrin make fools of themselves live on TV*
