Did you know? Suet puddings were already a British staple when Five Bells Wickham opened it’s doors in 1700! Suet is the hard fat from around the kidneys, and it’s what gives the pudding its light, rich texture.

Hello everyone! We’re hosting a Beaujolais Nouveau night at The Five Bells in Wickham on Thursday 19th November at 7.30pm.

It’s a classic French bistro menu with onion soup, bœuf bourguignon, bouillabaisse and crème brûlée, plus a large glass of Beaujolais Nouveau 2026 on its release day. £45 per person.
