At an innovators huddle co-hosted with Music Technology UK, startups .fans.live and .tv explained how each is transforming how artists connect with their biggest fans: 

🤳Planet Fans is a membership app that enables artists to interact with, provide special moments for, and offer exclusive rewards for their most committed fans at live events.

📈Un:hurd Music is an all-in-one digital marketing platform for artists that provides personalised data-based marketing recommendations, then enables them to be actioned at the click of a button.

📽️Lounges.tv is a video streaming platform that empowers creators to monetise their live events, and get them paid fast. 

Thanks to everyone who joined us and made the session a particularly insightful one through the many thoughtful and probing questions put to the speakers!

Meet the members: Paul Benney, DMY 👋

🎙️DMY was one of the first businesses to join The Halley back in 2020 and has been with us ever since – with many of the artists DMY supports recording music in our studios.

📰 A hybrid online magazine and artist services company, DMY helps “artists find success in a very crowded marketplace”.

💭 “While I was very excited about the opportunities for artists to self-release their music, I realised a lot of artists were finding it very difficult to get noticed,” Paul explains of why he started the venture.

💡 “The idea was to bring together the artist services company and the online magazine to help solve that. There are more great artists out there than ever, and the quality of music is better than ever – if we can help some of those artists get noticed, then we’re succeeding.”
