Founded in 1948 and located on the south bank of the idylic Helford River Some of the best sailing waters in England with shore facilities and pontoons. Fantastic Bar and restaurant for members and all visiting yachts. Yacht racing on Wednesday evenings and most weekends. Dinghy racing on Thursday evenings and some weekends. Adult training on Tuesday evenings and Junior sailing on Friday evenings.

We have the 65th Helford to L'Aber Wrac'h Yacht Race and festivities fast approaching... ⛵

On Thursday 25th June we have the traditional Champagne Recovery Party to welcome the French boats who have made it over for the race. Champagne and Pimm's will be served from 7pm. Please bring £10 cash to buy your Champagne Sticker, there will also be a raffle to win a Bottle of Champagne. Local Popular Band 'The Salt Water Cure' will be playing for us from 7:30pm and a delicious BBQ will be on offer.

On Friday 26th June the L'Aber Wrac'h Yacht Race will commence, see our website for details on how to enter. We look forward to seeing you!

June is packed with club racing, our first village regatta of 2026, Falmouth Classics Regatta and the Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival. Whether you’re racing, spectating, or just soaking up the atmosphere, there’s something for everyone this month.
