Well wow, what an incredible day, Soapbox 2026 was a huge success, the sun was shining, the biggest crowd we have ever seen, the most amazing carts, the effort and imagination was just outstanding, we would like to thank all the volunteers for helping The Riser team bring you this incredible day, it takes a huge amount of work, planning and people, so thank you to Ross, George, Pete, Andy, Mark, Juliette, Mark Jr, Debbie, Mark H, Carlos, Hilary, Kev, Freya, Nick and Simon, Robbie for the meat, Pete May for the trophies, Ethan, Jason and Steve for the ramp and of course 3s A Crowd with there amazing performance, every single one of these people helped make the day great and with out them we just couldn’t have done it, and a huge thank you to all our soapbox entries, 10 in total, Alpaca Punch, Team Bean, Crotch Rockets, Little Red Chopper, The Orca, S Car Go, Redmoor Mushroom Mafia, Trailer Trash, Trikasaurus and Up Bleep Creek, the winners of the overall look by public vote was The Orca, team Paul, Kiwi and Laura defending there title from last year, it was close this year but second place went to team Trailer Trash Chris and Reg, the winner of the speed category with an incredible finish time of 0.54 seconds was S Car go followed closely by The Orca at 1 minute 6 seconds. A big thank you to everyone that came down and supported the day and a huge thank you to are little Riser Family, Brandon, Jess, Tyler and Madison for all the help in the run up and on the day. Soapbox 2026 complete (now for the clean up 🤣)

Please if anyone has any pictures and videos of the day they can send us (we were a little busy) we would really appreciate it.

Also if anyone would interested in volunteering there help at next year’s soapbox let us know as the event grows so does the need for more volunteers.

Well what an amazing day, we would like to say a huge congratulations to the newly married Lesley and Vince, a beautiful day from start to finish, we wish you both many happy returns from all The Riser Family, thank you for letting us be part of such a special day.

On to Sunday, we have the fabulous Richard James in from 4 till 6 tomorrow and the weather is looking set to be another stunning day so pop in, enjoy a pint, some live music and a beautiful view. See you soon.
