Absolutely chuffed to bits with how the bar top has turned out. After a nightmare with the resin coat and having to take it all back layer by layer, it has finally been finished and fixed in place. What do you think?

It has been a very long winter - I have been unable to do anything in the trailer for months. The weather has picked up and so I have started again. Sadly having to take a huge step back as the resin coat on the front bar did not set properly and had all bloomed. I have spent hours scrapping it off layer by layer 🤯. Which is sole destroying. A good sanding and I can start again. We are determined that she will finally be ready for dry hire before the summer.

Much work has been done on the trailer over the past few weeks and I am thrilled with how she is coming together. It really helps that Spike is amazing and can put my thoughts into reality. @ Gunnislake

Now that the rain and snow have subsided a little. Work has started up again on the The axle has been replaced with a new one, so we now have free moving, road legal wheels with breaks. She has finally been made water proof and is almost ready for electrics and second fittings. My deadline has always been Easter and it is fast approaching. Spike is a very talented and gifted person who is doing all the technical stuff that I know nothing bout.

Thanks to the weather this afternoon, I have been able to get the 1st coat of the final colour onto the trailer and the lovely new back doors that Spike has made.

I was so excited that I could finally start painting the trailer, I woke up super early. That was short lived after the first hour. The primer is now on.
