🎭 AUDITIONS – DIRTY DUSTING! 🎭

Fancy being part of a hilarious comedy full of laughs and cheeky humour?

We are holding auditions for Dirty Dusting by Ed Waugh and Trevor Wood, directed by Linda McAlinden.

📅 Thursday 12th November 7pm In our Clubroom

ABOUT THE PLAY

Three older ladies discover that they are about to be made redundant from their comfortable evening cleaning jobs in an office block. With only their state pensions to fall back on and little chance of finding alternative employment at their age, they are understandably worried about how they will make ends meet!

Add a very young, bullying and ultimately lazy supervisor, Dave, into the mix, and you have the recipe for a wonderfully funny comedy!

🎬 AUDITION INFORMATION

Audition format: Round-table read-through.

No preparation needed.

Scripts will be provided on the day.

A NOTE FROM THE DIRECTOR

"There are no hidden depths to this piece – it is pure end-of-the-pier fun! There are plenty of sexual references and double entendres. This will be a true ensemble piece, with lots of laughs along the way. A great play to end the season with!"

Whether you're an experienced performer or fancy getting involved, come along and find out more.

🍂🍻 Another fantastic event in our Clubroom!

We love seeing our Clubroom hired for all sorts of occasions, and last Friday was a perfect example!

For the second year running, the committee of the Glossop Town Twinning / Bad Vilbel Association chose our Clubroom to celebrate their Oktoberfest, and what a wonderful job they did! We absolutely loved how they styled the room to create the perfect atmosphere for their celebrations.

They also chose one of our recommended caterers, Outside The Box Catering to provide the food — another great local connection! 🍽️

A huge thank you to the committee for choosing us again. We love seeing our space transformed for such special occasions! ❤️
