Beautiful day for a ferry sailing to Islay. Fèis Ìle 2026 is well underway and we have some great events lined up with the Islay Whisky Academy over the next couple of days. Whisky, storytelling, music, craft, heritage… this is what Islay and the IWA is all about.

Leaving Glasgow to make my way to the magical island of Islay for Fèis Ìle 2026. The Islay Whisky Academy has some lovely small events lined up this year - some peat cutting sessions, a walk around Bowmore, and some tastings - Ceòl agus Craic and Seachad an Èorna - Beyond the Barley. Weather is looking fantastic. Here we go!
