A little note from us…
We’ve had a few questions over the last few days, so we thought it would be helpful to explain how things work.
Firstly, we’re really pleased to see another independent food business joining the neighbourhood. We love seeing the local food scene grow, and we wish them every success.
A few people have asked whether food and drinks can be shared between our seating area and theirs, and unfortunately the answer is no.
🍕 Food: Our tables are for customers enjoying drinks from Topsham Brewery alongside food from our friends at Portal Pizza, who have been part of the brewery for many years. We kindly ask that food purchased from other vendors is enjoyed in the seating provided by those businesses.
🍺 Drinks: Because of the conditions of our premises licence, we’re only able to serve alcohol within our licensed area, so we can’t take drinks orders to seating outside of it.
We know it can seem a little confusing, but these arrangements help us meet our licensing requirements, manage our responsibilities around food and customer safety, and continue supporting our long-standing partnership with Portal Pizza.
We’re lucky to have so many brilliant independent businesses around us, and we hope you’ll continue to enjoy them all. Thanks, as always, for your understanding and your support.
