🍻 We’re Hiring: Production Brewer
Topsham Brewery & Taproom is looking for an experienced, motivated Production Brewer to take ownership of our new 12HL production brewery in Exeter.
📍 Location: TB&T Barrel Store Brewhouse, Exeter
💼 Role: Full Time | Permanent | 40 hours per week
💰 Salary: £30,000–£35,000, depending on experience
This is a hands-on role with real responsibility. Working closely with our Head Brewer, you’ll oversee the day-to-day running of the production brewery, producing our core range and seasonal b**rs to the highest standards of quality and consistency.
You’ll be involved in every stage of production, including brewing, fermentation, cellaring, packaging, quality control, stock management, equipment maintenance and process improvement. You’ll also support and lead an Assistant Brewer, helping maintain a positive, organised and high-performing brewery environment.
We’re looking for someone with:
• 3–5 years’ commercial brewing experience
• Strong knowledge of brewing, fermentation and quality control
• Experience working independently in a production brewery
• Excellent attention to detail and strong sensory skills
• Confidence maintaining accurate production records, ideally using Breww
• A good understanding of HACCP, SALSA and brewery Health & Safety
• A proactive, practical and quality-focused approach
