Thank you to everyone for the support and engagement as we return to a club structure.
We remain open to both members and non-members. However, as a business that hasn’t increased prices or taken memberships since the pandemic, this step is about securing the future of the club.
⸻
So what can you expect?
It won’t happen overnight — but we’ve listened, and here’s what we’re working on:
đź”´ Table standards (Snooker & Pool)
A clear plan is in place to service and improve all tables.
đźš» Facilities
We know the gents, terrace and heating needs attention — it’s on the list.
🍻 Better value behind the bar
Reintroducing standard rates for non-members allows us to reinvest — including improving drink offers for members.
⸻
Where we’re heading
We want this to be a proper hub for cue sports in Exeter:
• Stronger internal leagues
• New competitions (including shootout-style events)
• A district-level snooker team
• Reconnecting with the local pool scene through a club team
⸻
And a bonus…
With links to one of Exeter’s best Indian restaurants, we’ll be looking to introduce a curry & pint night at a proper mates-rate price.
⸻
This is a rebuild, not a quick fix.
But we’ve got a committed team and a clear direction — and with your support, there’s a lot to look forward to.
