The Bees' Knees is a traditional pub based at Springhead's brewery site in the picturesque village of Laneham, nr Retford, Notts. We pride ourselves in serving our local community with a fantastic selection of real ales, kept in top condition by owner David Anderson, as well as real ciders, 150+ Gins, fine wines, and a few of the usual favourites! We also have a great selection of locally sourced beer-matched food on offer, all made on site to the highest of standards by our head chef Luke Cresswell. We also offer a takeaway food service, and beer to take home - from bottles and gift packs, to full casks for parties! Please ask our friendly staff for details, or to find out more about our beers and how they are brewed, take a tour of our state of the art micro-brewery, located across the yard from the pub! We’re launching a new monthly competition giving you the chance to win a Pheasantry Brewery mini keg!

To enter, all you have to do is take a selfie of you with your bottle of Pheasantry b**r or in your local next to one of our pumps, post it on social media, tag us and include . You can, of course, get someone else to take your photo!

The winner, who must obviously be over 18 and live in mainland Britain, will be drawn at random on Thursday 1st October 2026.
