Raising a glass to another fabulous Ferryboat Summer as it draws to an end!🌞

It seriously couldn’t be done without our team that work so hard to make sure you all have the best time with us- including those that were not present for the picture or those that work behind the scenes in the kitchen, cooking, potwashing or cleaning the pub.

We’re also sending a few of the girls on their next chapter, including Chloe off for her first year at university, Gen on her second year, and Ruby as she starts at college. You’ve all been the best💗

Not to worry though, they’ll all be back- whether it’s next summer or just on fewer shifts!

Here’s what’s going on this rainy bank holiday Saturday!

This afternoon we have taken in the big macmillan fundraiser from Trentfield due to the miserable weather. There will be a raffle, tombola and live music, with lots of ways to raise money for the charity- all whilst you’ve got a drink in hand or one of our delicious cakes🍰

Then ‘Elegantly Wasted’ take to the stage at 8pm this evening, with a mixed genre set that everybody will know and love! We’ve had these guys lots of times before and we know they are fabulous! 💃🕺

We’re serving our home cooked meals until 8pm, so why not pop down a little earlier and have dinner first?

We are operating on a largely reduced menu this evening, due to a fridge going down and losing a massive amount of stock.

We apologise if your usual dish isn’t available this evening, but we are still managing to open the kitchen at 4pm and serve with what we have available to us.

We will be back as usual tomorrow once we’ve had time to rectify these issues.
