Have your say on Cake Sheds in Bassetlaw

Bassetlaw District Council is asking cake shed operators, residents, and local businesses to share their views on how cake sheds and cupboards should be considered as part of its Street Trading Policy.

The Council has launched a consultation to further understand the broad range of opinions on cake sheds and cupboards, which will be used to help the Council make a final decision on the policy as part of a future meeting of Licensing Committee.

Milestone Brewery is looking for a friendly, organised, and enthusiastic person to join our office team!

This is a varied office-based role working 25-30 hours per week.

Responsibilities include :

• Telesales and speaking with customers
• Processing customer orders
• Taking table bookings for the tap room
• Managing social media content
• Assisting with marketing and promotions
• Helping to design artwork and promotional materials for the business
• Responding to telephone and email enquiries
• General office administration and other daily tasks

The ideal candidate will:
• Be confident and professional on the telephone
• Have excellent communication and organisational skills
• Be comfortable using computers and have a working knowledge of social media
• Have a creative eye and an interest in design and marketing
• Be able to manage a varied workload
• Previous office, sales, marketing, or design experience would be advantageous but not essential

• 1:00pm – Mining Exhibition Celebration Reception

There's plenty to enjoy across the town, with heritage sites and historic buildings opening their doors to visitors throughout the day.
