🚨 IMPORTANT NOTICE – PACKET INN 🚨

Due to an unexpected situation, The Packet Inn has been evacuated and is currently CLOSED until further notice.

We’re really sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but everyone’s safety comes first. ❤️

We’ll keep you updated and let you know as soon as we’re able to reopen our doors.

UPDATE - This incident has now been safely resolved. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

A police cordon is currently in place in Retford while officers and partner agencies investigate a suspicious item.

Road closures have been set up in and around Chesterfield Canal and Raglan Road. People are advised to avoid the area while officers are at the scene.

There is currently no threat to the public but as a precaution roads in the vicinity have been cordoned off.

We’d like to thank the public in advance for their patience.
