Hi all, as you know pubs are struggling up and down the country and a big factor in that is the VAT pubs pay, the UK has a 20% VAT rate which is among the highest in Europe for hospitality businesses with only Denmark being higher! Places such as Germany only have 7% vat, France and Spain with 10%

Right now the government lowering the vat to 10% would be a massive support to local businesses such as pubs, restaurants, cafes and hotels

Over 100,000 jobs have been lost in the last 2 years and many others have lost hours.
