At last Friday’s Annual General Meeting, we officially voted in our new Flag Officer team following the past two years of fantastic leadership under Simon Bennett.
First, a huge thank you to our outgoing officers — Callum Di**le (President), John Crabb (Vice Commodore), and Jack Pope (Rear Commodore).
A special thank you to Callum for his time as President, and previously as Commodore, overseeing some fantastic championships, great socials, and helping to develop the sail training programme alongside the team.
To Jack — thank you for taking on what can often be a thankless role as Rear Commodore over the last six seasons. Some truly memorable theme nights will live long in the club’s history. It’s not an easy role to drive forward, and your efforts are hugely appreciated.
And to John — in particular, thank you for the outstanding job you’ve done over many years, especially in looking after our racing schedule and team. Your dedication and commitment have made a lasting impact.
We’re excited to welcome a new team, with several new faces joining the committee. Our Flag Officers for the coming term are:
