A harpist in the church on Friday and a jazz trio in The Longroom on Saturday … What’s on in November? We have an original music showcase with Moreton band The Juliettes and The Curve (featuring Tim Peirce on drums) on Saturday 14th November (donations on the door). After that in Friday 20th we have the South West’s premier REM tribute band, REM Pretend (tickets: https://buytickets.at/thedrewearms/2363782 ). Keep music live!

Celebrating Contribution

At our recent AGM we explained how the Drewe is now very much a community run pub. This is having a profound impact – not only in reducing costs, but in building a unique and loyal relationship with our customers and staff, and a sense of purpose and wellbeing in those who contribute. To create resilience and share the load, we are always looking to broaden this volunteer base. Your ideas and time are hugely valued.

To recognise and celebrate the contribution made so far, we would like to invite all those who have volunteered their time, however and whenever spent - from getting the pub ready to open to the current day - to a celebratory supper in the Longroom on Thursday 26th November from 6:30pm.

RSVP by 15th November via email to: [email protected] with ‘volunteer supper’ in the subject line to indicate your attendance and if you have any dietary requirements (vegetarian, vegan, gluten free etc.)

We look forward to hearing from you.
