So it is finally the weekend!!

Or alternatively message us on FaceBook. We are constantly monitoring our page and will respond to you very quickly.

We will be open over the weekend for you to visit us, our opening hours are below.

Friday 4th September CLOSED LUNCHTIME
OPEN 6-10.30pm
Saturday 5th September 12-3pm and 6-10.30pm
Sunday 30th August 12-3pm

Our traditional home cooked food is served from 12-2pm and 6-9pm when we are open.

Of course on Sunday we serve our traditional Sunday roast between 12.30-1pm.

So we are overwhelmed by all the kind comments and the cards we have received recently.
We thank you all for having us in your thoughts.

We appreciate Roger was a very much loved landlord and knew people from far and wide.

We welcome you all to come and celebrate his life with us from 5pm on Friday 18th September here at The Cobley.

We would appreciate your understanding of our wishes for the funeral service to be a family only occasion.

Paul has been busy this morning making our burgers ready for the weekend. A task Roger had trained him up well for.

Still the same great recipe, still the same great Cobley burger.

A big congratulations to the Cobley Wanderers for winning our August pub quiz.

A big thank you to Carl for another great quiz, an evening enjoyed by all and all funds raised in support of our local village.

The next quiz will be on Tuesday 22nd September.

We have had a couple of lovely reviews for our bed and breakfast recently, which are always appreciated.

We are hoping to be taking bookings for our rooms again from mid September.

Unfortunately we have some sad news to inform you all. Roger passed away peacefully in his sleep this afternoon.
The pub will understandably be closed this evening but will be open from tomorrow night as planned over the bank holiday week end, but please bear with us.
