We pride ourselves on being a traditional family run pub, we offer a wide selection of ales and cider and good traditional pub food. We cater for a variety of palates and have a large vegetarian, vegan and gluten free food selection. The bar area is cosy and friendly and in the winter a lovely log fire is roaring in the corner. Dogs are welcome on leads and there is a plentiful supply of dog biscuits as most of the regular canine friends soon learn. Large parties catered for and if you are looking for something special we can normally accommodate the situation.

We will be taking some time to spend with our family soon.

This means that unfortunately we will be CLOSED for a week.

But we will be back ready and rearing to go throughout the Festive Season, our busiest time of the year!!

We will close our doors at 3pm on Sunday 1st November and reopen at 12 noon on Wednesday 11th November.

We hope to see you all again then in the lead up to Christmas and New Year.

Whilst it is cold, wet and windy outside, we are all warm and cosy by our lovely open fire. 🔥

Just sitting here listening to the crackles and pops, with a pint in hand, whilst enjoying the warmth is very relaxing.

So why not team that up with some good home cooked traditional pub food and bring some friends or family, or both!!??

We are open this lunchtime and evening, serving food from our daily menu from 12-2pm and 6-9pm.

We still have a few tables available for our traditional Sunday Roast tomorrow. Your choice or Devon roast beef or turkey with all the trimmings. Served between 12.30-1pm.
