To all our amazing customers and friends of The White Horse,
Unfortunately, this is a message I have been dreading writing for months, but as of today, The White Horse has closed with immediate effect.
After a year of doing everything I possibly could to keep the pub going through incredibly tough economic times, I’ve reached the point where I have to say, “I’ve tried everything I can, but I can’t carry on any longer.”
Today is an incredibly sad day for me. Running The White Horse for the past six years has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. It has been an absolute honour to welcome so many wonderful people through our doors, and along the way I’ve been lucky enough to make some truly great friends.
To my amazing team, both past and present, thank you. Every one of you has worked tirelessly, shown incredible dedication, and played a huge part in making The White Horse the special place it became. I couldn’t have done it without you.
And to every customer who came through our doors, whether you visited once or became part of our family, thank you. Thank you for your support, your kindness, your laughter, and for helping create so many unforgettable memories. They are memories I will always treasure.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything. The White Horse will always hold a very special place in my heart, and I will never forget the people who made it what it was.
