Profuse apologies for the tardy lateness of this posting … must be a lifestyle choice! After last week’s calm prepare yourself for the storm, Thursday 29th we have another impromptu music session which occur every fourth Thursday, even when it’s a fifth Thursday! Friday we have a kitchen takeover and potatoes shall be baked with a variety of fillings. Saturday we remember that Ghouls just wanna have fun and welcome The Reverse Cowboys to entertain us. We have a spooktacular choice on the bar with with ‘Scary Tree’, ‘Three Witches’ and ‘Krampus’ joining Ampersand Bitter, Comrade Bill and Landlord… see you there

What happened to the pump clip chapter 37 … pump clips are like biros, if left unattended they disappear into the ether. This weekend we will have Ampersand Bitter on the bar but could I find the pump clip ? This necessitated a visit to the brewery to get a replacement and, whilst there, a bit of quality control and I sampled their Pulpit Pale which I hope to have on the bar in a couple of weeks…

Whilst I have been sampling the flesh pits of Amsterdam Billie Jean ( aka Sparklewomb) has been hard at work procuring ingredients from ‘Still Good Food ‘and putting forth a meal fit for champions. Hopefully she will repeat this adventure a month from now when I will endeavour to attend
