We’ve been having good fun opening on Mondays for drinks only but today as an exception we are closing. It’s a team members birthday so the legends in this picture plus the rest of the team (also legends) are off for some well deserved drinks after a record October for us 🙌

It’s getting close to our favourite time of the year. Proper pub food, European la**rs, really (really good) gravy, and roaring log burners.

This is our bread & butter season. Pull up a chair and get settled, we’ll get you looked after.

We’re incredibly grateful that ‘Roast season’ is pretty much all year round for us but the last few weeks have been some really some chunky old days. We’re a small pub, with an even smaller kitchen - the team that work Sundays move mountains to deliver the covers that we do. It’s tough, but we absolutely love it & love the incredible people we meet each and every week 🖤

Those words have stood proud on our little neighbourhood pub for a long time & yesterday felt like an evening that encapsulated it all. Mooser Liesl Helles 5.3% 100 pints went out in less than 30 mins, Oktoberfest beers & Beamish followed & our Hanover community stood, drank, chatted & watched another lovely sunset on the hill.

LOOK we’ll be honest this isn’t our best video. We’d been in the cellar for over 2 hours sorting deliveries and then we blocked 3 cars turning onto Coleman street who weren’t best pleased! So we’ve rushed the video, messed up the pronunciations and missed out almost all of the information, stunning work.
