Amieโ€™s powerful vocals and soulful songwriting have been compared to the likes of Laura Marling and Brandi Carlile, performing on acoustic guitar. Together with Chloeโ€™s ethereal harmonies and melodic bass lines, the duoโ€™s storytelling and sisterly banter take the audience on an emotional journey.

Exploring the dialog of cello, voice, accordion and foot percussion in new and unexpected ways...

Hannah and Toby are a dazzling combination...

Hannah is an award-winning accordionist, dancer, songwriter and singer, renowned for her work with The Jigdoll Ensemble, Lady Maisery, Seasick Steve, Maddy Prior, Eliza Carthy, Karine Polwart etc. Toby is a globetrotting French cellist whose post-classical, inventive playing combines beautifully with Hannah to create a charismatic, playful chemistry.

In a journey through sound, texture, emotion and rhythm, Hannah and Toby navigate the paths of growth, discovery, darkness and light, exploring the dialog of cello, voice, accordion and foot percussion in new and unexpected ways. Effortlessly blending, the pair play and dance through a series thoughtful tunes, soulful songs and joyful set-pieces in which Hannahโ€™s vocal mastery is underpinned by Tobyโ€™s unorthodox delivery, weaving intricate layers of harmony and melody together to the beat and swish of percussive dance. Ever curious, always exploring their connection to the worlds around them, this duo offers an entirely novel, delicate, grounded and powerful performance.

Showcasing his in-depth Americana songbook, award-winning songwriter Rod Picott brings his compelling live show, gritty delivery and keenly observed songs to the UK for one last time; his 'So Long It's Been Good to Know You' retirement tour at The Greys, Brighton on Monday 3rd November.

The thrum of insects on a hot August night. A saw blade biting kiln-dried hemlock. The lonesome highway whine of long-haul trucks. A crude swallow of cheap whiskey that tears at your throat. Tears of loss and the easy laughter of old friends. This is the sound of Rod Picott's world.

Over twenty-four years, twelve albums, three published books and a few thousand shows... through luck and white-knuckled determination Picott has been fortunate to open a tour for Alison Krauss and Union Station, play the Shrewsbury Folk festival, BBC Radio 2 Bob Harris sessions, Maverick Festival and receive the 'Song of the Year' award for his co-write (with Slaid Cleaves) 'Broke Down' at the Austin Music Awards.

Picott has had songs placed in television and film projects including; The FX series Justified and the Michael Douglas film Solitary Man. His song 'Circus Girl' was featured in the PBS documentary Circus. BBC News aired his co-write 'Rust Belt Fields' in a news feature.

The set for this show will feature songs and stories from Picott's quarter-century on the road.
