The Bridport Arms is a 16th century thatched Inn & is one of the oldest buildings in West Bay, having been extensively restored, retaining original features where possible, so creating a relaxed, informal atmosphere, where you can meet for a drink in the original fisherman’s bar & sample local real ales or mulled wine by the roaring log fire in the winter. If fish is your thing then join us at the BA for some real treats from our extensive seafood specials board. Choose from our signature ‘BA fish pot’ for those cold winter nights, or alternatively our sumptuous seafood platter for those balmy summer nights. All of our rooms have been tastefully decorated in a traditional style, and have flat screen television, hospitality tray, hair dryer, iron & ironing boards. We also have free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.

It’s the weekend and it’s Bonfire and Fireworks night!

So why not pop down to your local for a drink and something to eat before or after the main event?

Serving amazing Goose & Badger coffee, nice cold pints and w**e, married to some fresh fish, a wholesome steak & ale pie, or a butchers cheeseburger and more.

And don’t bother cooking tomorrow as we will be serving one of the best Sunday roasts in the area, book a table or just pop in.

Not forgetting we also dog friendly and they are more than welcome to join you.

The Bridport Arms is open from 10am for freshly brewed Goose & Badger coffee, homemade cake or even a spot of breakfast, whether that’s a light one or the full English what ever your in the mood for we would love to look after you.

Also, we have our new menu coming soon, along with some cosmetic changes too to make the Bridport Arms a more relaxed and comfortable setting that welcomes our locals to come and enjoy.

We have been working very hard in the background to launch a new menu!

Fresh ideas along with keeping some favourites, fresh ingredients, a new lunch menu with a 2 course offer!

Just need a few more days to finesse the detail and then we will plan the launch very soon!

In the meantime we have also teamed up with another local business Goose & Badger coffee and now proudly serve their coffee! Will be launch a new coffee and cake relaxing area in the pub to go with it, watch this space for the changes.

I know it’s a Monday, it’s raining and it’s half term…

Half Term is here and at The Bridport Arms we thought what can we do to help with the kids being off school……

From Friday 23rd October until the 1st November kids can eat for just £1 with any adult main!

A great reason to come out and support your local pub, helps your wallet and you get to take the kids out, everyone is a winner.

Book a table or just rock up and we will do the rest, including the washing up ☺️

We have some new opening times now we have enough team.

We will be opening from 10am and serving Goose and Badger coffee and homemade cake for only £6.50, you can come and sit by the open fire, perfic on these cold winter days.
But if cake is not for you, why not have a breakfast ☺️
