Karin's update.
I never expected to leave our lovely Crown Inn and wonderful village and even more wonderful friends loaded into an ambulance wearing just a nighty & taken to Dorchester County Hospital.
To find out that I have an aggressive leukemia
I have been moved to the new Cancer Centre at the RUH in Bath.
I wish to thank everyone for their cards, kind messages and support, absolutely amazing.
Retirement was'nt meant to be like this.
Good luck to whoever takes over, we wish them well.

We are so sorry to close the kitchen over Easter also the Bar until we know more. Karin been so unwell & now waiting for a Ambulance to Dorchester Hospital.

Thank you to all our Golfers who played for the Crown Inn, Uploder's against the Hare & Hound's at Waytown for the Claret Jug Trophy, at Bridport & West Dorset Golf Club.
Well done to Bob's team for an excellent score of 304 points & 285 points to the Crown team who gave fought back well.
The Claret Jug has returned to Waytown .
It was another brilliant day for the 3rd year of this tournement.
Anyone wishing to continue playing for this event, will be contacted by Pete Warne or John Land who will be taking over running the future Golf Days as we are retiring from the Crown Inn on the 30th April.
Thank you for all the amazing support for our Golf Days, we will never forget them or yourselves.

We will be closed from Thursday 16th until Thursday 23rd for essentials that need doing for our move in April, but we will be open for drinks only this Friday & Saturday evenings for our village or anyone who wants to visit us. Sorry but no food will be available.

Its our Anniversay.
Today we start our 10th year at the Crown Inn.
It has been amazing with many happy times & made so many lovely friends & welcomed many people from all over.
Sadly it will be a short year, but we will still be popping back to visit.
End of April is our time to leave, but hope we see as many as possible before we go.
