Today is difficult one.
It's the first year that I've actually remembered our wedding anniversary ❤️.
I have to say that the last ten months have been have been tough 😪.
Just so proud that the Hare and Hounds garden was the OVERALL CHAMPION in the Palmers Garden in Bloom competition.
This was Jennifer's legacy and brings me tears of joy daily.
There are lot of people to thank as I have been given so much help from friends, family, customers and Palmers Brewery. You all have been wonderful. Knowing that I have such great support has kept me going 😀.

Dates for your diary;
Sunday roast 4th and 25th October.
Pub closed Friday night 23rd October (race night at the village hall-see you there!)
Big fun quiz 10th October and 7th November.

Got the chicken crate ready for the new ‘rescues’ 🙄.
Hare an Hounds will be closed this Thursday 27th (Melplash Show).
Open all bank holiday weekend so get booked in early! We will be full😀.

Sorry fully booked for meals tonight (Thursday) and Saturday night 1st August.
A few spaces Friday atm.
It’s definitely silly season, hopefully it’ll rain soon to water the award winning garden. (Palmers in bloom overall champion). Jenny’s legacy ❤️.

Silly season has arrived so it’s reservations only for evening meals until winter sets in. (Less than 6 months till Christmas!!)
The garden is looking wonderful in this lovely weather we’ve been enjoying 😀🍺🍷🍾

Sadly Heather, our lovely FOH who joined myself and Jenny when we first arrived at the Hare and Hounds, is moving to the other side of the country. She goes with a lot of love and best wishes.
A wonderful picture of Jenny and Heather in happier times. ❤️. Now I’m missing two people 😪.

Due to the ongoing success of this busy little pub I am looking to recruit a new member (FOH or kitchen) to our small but select team at the Hare and Hounds. Experience not necessary but a good work ethic is! Excellent wages and very flexible hours to suit.
