Sunday night is Games Night at The Bell – a great excuse to get out, grab a drink, and enjoy some friendly competition.

Whether you are a dedicated strategist or just looking for a relaxed way to wind down the weekend, you are more than welcome to take part in the fun. We have a selection of games ready for you to use, but feel free to bring along your own favourites if you have something special in mind.

It all starts at 6pm so bring your friends and form a team, or just come along to play!

Our Sunday lunchtime live music session this week features Los Desafinados.

Boss-tone Bossa Nova. The name – it comes from a famous Jobim song – actually means ‘out of tune’ and it ain’t right. Vocalist/violinist Azhaar has the pick of the Latin players in the region, and out of tune is one thing they won’t be.

We open at 12 and the music starts at 1!

Today the bar and beer garden open at 1pm.

At 3pm, it's The Saturday Shuffle. Emperor Bruno and Mick RPM enrich your weekend with a heady mix of contemporary and vintage tuneage!

In the main bar at 8pm, DJ Auntie Marion spins a wildly eclectic, genre-defying selection ranging from Burt Bacharach to raw UK Garage. Expect unexpected grooves and feminine power.

And, in the back room from 8pm, it's Young, Loud & Snotty Club with live music from The Salford Jets and BOTOX plus the YL&S DJs playing punk, glam rock, bubblegum, proto punk and all things YL&S!

Today at The Bell:

At 5pm, Mick RPM starts the weekend with Vibe Friday, bringing you trip-hop, reggae, and a whole heap of Nightmares on Wax.

Then at 8pm, DJ Delooze takes over with an electrifying, globe-trotting mix of Balearic, Latin, jazz, disco, hip-hop, and broken beat guaranteed to get you moving.

All that, and we've got really good beers and delicious Pizza too!

The Playgroup returns at 8pm tonight!

Whether you want to play a song, try out some stand-up comedy, read a poem, or do whatever else you feel like sharing on stage - our weekly open mic night welcomes it all. If you’d rather just watch, come and settle in with a pint and enjoy the local talent.

Sign-ups open at 7:30pm and the performances kick off at 8pm. Entry is completely free, so come on down and join us at The Bell!

Tonight at 9pm we have live music from Dusk Art Rhythm Quartet.

DARQ playing around with reggae instrumentals, eternal dancing grooves just like the soul tunes they usually feed off. Jackie Mittoo, Jerry Dammers, Ansel Collins, and a rhythm section so good they keep them secret so no-one will steal them.

Fine ales, delicious Pizza, great atmosphere, and brilliant live music - what more do you need?
