The first original wine bar in Sydney and a true local hangout. At The Shop you can expect to find the same customers that have been coming since day one. The Shop is like being welcomed into the home of a favourite relative and the food that comes out of the kitchen is like they have preformed magic. We like to focus on comfort food and all locally sourced. Everything is made from scratch, including the aioli, dressings, relishes and pickled vegetables. Most of our wines are organic and always have a preservative free wine. Seasonal cocktails available if your feeling colourful. The menu changes with seasons as does the street facing mural by local artist Brett Chan. Be prepared for a taste sensation from our famous BLT stuffed with pickles tour cauliflower rice, haloumi, pickled cabbage, avocado splashed with pepitas & sesame seeds. Huge colourful salads, burgers and meatballs. The heart and the soul of the owners and locals oozes out of The Shop!

What a weekend!!
We love day light savings ☀️
Spontaneously booked a table at our little Shop & W**e Bar ☺️
They squeezed us in, started with an Aperol Spritz and a Mythos, L***r. For starter -
Tuna Crudo with crispy capers and orange 🍊
Then shared Charred Corn on whipped ricotta, caramelised curry onions & tomato vodka rigatoni
(FYI - such a good combo)
Had a crisp 2025 Lotus Flower 🌸
Rosa Glen Farm, Sauvignon Blanc from Margaret River, my new fav!
Mike and I were seriously so happy, so proud 🥹
Service was warm and welcoming!
Detail and flavour from chef was 🤌🏽
Then lastly we decided to give away left over bread.
Look out every Sunday for free bread to take home 🏡 🍞
I reckon we will be back soon for a visit 😂☺️👊🏽
