Thank you to everyone for the out pouring of excitement and love on our last post! We appreciate all of our customers that have came through our doors in the last few weeks. ❤️

This weekend we have a beautiful Octopus dish on our Chef Specials Board including a glass of Blesdale Pinot Gris.

Opening hours are currently still remaining the same Thursday to Monday 8:30am - 3:30pm.

Exciting news! Blended Kitchen has bought Bombora on the River!
Twenty-five years ago, Trent began his journey as an apprentice chef with Olaf at Aqua Cafe—now known as Bombora on the River. Since then, Trent and his wife, Crystal, have spent years working in the business and building their experience.
They can’t wait to share some of their incredible experiences with the community. By bringing the Blended Kitchen and Bombora teams together, they’re creating a fantastic team for the future.
Working with Joel and Casey throughout the transition has been an exciting and wonderful experience. We can’t thank them enough for everything they’ve done to make Bombora the incredible business it is today.
Come and join us tomorrow for Casey’s last day, and meet our amazing team!

This weekend there may be a little action on the water for you to enjoy while you have your breakfast or lunch!

The Goolwa Aquatic Club will host its annual Aquafest on the 11th and 12th of April. This two-day event celebrates speedboat racing reminiscent of a bygone era at Goolwa, featuring an impressive range of vessels from classic wooden boats to contemporary high-performance machines, both displayed and in action throughout the weekend.

Saturday’s activities commence at 11:00 am with demonstrations of blown alcohol displacement and specialised boats. Ski racing exhibitions and heats involving similar types of boats will take place throughout the afternoon.

On Sunday, events begin at 10:00 am with a series of heats, followed by further demonstration runs and additional heats into the afternoon. The adjacent lawn area will feature a display of nostalgic cars presented by the Coffee & Chrome Car Club.

Food and coffee vendors will be available throughout the event, and the Goolwa Aquatic Club Bar will be open for attendees to enjoy as they observe the festivities.

Free entry event, all welcome.
